During this hour we will take a broad look at developing client-centered nonprofit programs that create positive change by resolving systemic community challenges in an innovative and sustainable way.  Using a program design process worksheet, we will learn why we need to work with systemic outcomes in mind, and discuss how to:

• Understand the challenges faced in your community on a systemic level
• Effectively identify who your clients are within that community
• Evaluate and prioritize potential solutions that you could execute within the scope of your mission and resources
• Include your clients and other stakeholders in the program design process
• Identify, measure and evaluate short-term quantifiable outcomes and long-term qualitative impact
